An Innovative Digital Platform Powered by Artificial Intelligence
In a pioneering step to enhance the UAE’s efforts in spreading the values of tolerance and coexistence, the UAE Researchers Center for Research and Studies launched the “Coexistence Platform” as part of the Second International Conference on Dialogue of Civilizations and Tolerance (IDCT 2025). This event, organized by the center in partnership with the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence, was held under the theme “Empowering Youth for a Tolerant Future,” with the participation of a select group of experts and specialists from around the world.
The “Coexistence Platform” represents the first digital platform powered by artificial intelligence, aimed at enhancing the UAE leadership’s vision in dialogue and tolerance. The platform was presented during the conference by Dr. Firas Habal, the center’s president and vice president of the board of trustees, and Dr. Fawaz Habal, the conference president and the general secretary of the UAE Researchers Center. They described it as a pioneering innovation reflecting the UAE’s steadfast commitment to establishing a culture of coexistence and openness to the world.
The platform reflects the vision of the UAE’s wise leadership, providing an advanced digital hub that mirrors the country’s pioneering efforts in promoting the values of tolerance, based on the legacy of the founding leaders, especially the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may his soul rest in peace, along with the continuous support of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, who have firmly established the principles of coexistence and openness to different cultures.
In this context, Dr. Fawaz Habal, the general secretary and a member of the board of trustees, stated:
“The launch of the Coexistence Platform embodies our unwavering commitment to promoting a culture of tolerance and dialogue among nations. This initiative represents a qualitative step toward building more harmonious and understanding communities, based on the UAE’s vision of achieving human fraternity.”
The platform relies on the “UAE CoExistence.AI” application, which enables users to ask questions about tolerance, coexistence, and peace, and receive accurate answers supported by reliable sources. This reflects the UAE’s commitment to enhancing dialogue and understanding globally.
For his part, Dr. Firas Habal, president of the center and vice president of the board of trustees, said:
“Through this platform, we aim to provide scientific and interactive resources that enhance the culture of coexistence and support the UAE’s position as a global beacon of tolerance and peace. We are confident that this digital initiative will have a lasting positive impact at both regional and international levels.”
